Hey y’all! Welcome back to the blog! Today I’m going to be sharing my favorite back to school items! But, before we get started, I have a few things to talk about! The first being, I have started posting Youtube Shorts! Here is my youtube! And as always make sure to folllw me on Pinterest for blog post announcements, inspo and more! Also, my sister has started posting full videos as well! Here is her channel! The next thing I want to share is, that I will probably not be posting nearly as much. I will be beginning school on August the 15th! Now, we’ll get into my essentials!
My first essential is my North Face Recon Backpack! It’s an amazing book bag that fits a lot of supplies! It’s comfortable and a trend that’s never ending!
Then, is my Scout 3-Way Bag in Fanna White! It has 3 different compartments so it fits a bunch of utensils! I also put my calculator and some snacks into either of the sides! My lunch box is also the Nooner lunch box in the Spotted at Sea print and last year I had the black and white striped pattern!
Next, is my favorite tote bag to take to each of my classes! I use a J. Crew tote bag in a kelly green and white striped pattern! I also got it monogrammed in navy!
My favorite diabetes bags to carry are the Vera Bradley Mini Backpacks! I recently just got a new black nylon quilted one. But I also have many of just the quilted ones in different colors! A couple of them I have gotten monogrammed as well!! I also know the myabetic Brandy Backpack is really cool and works well!!
Now, I’ll start to share some of my favorite clothing items! The first piece I am really excited about wearing this school season are the Universal Threads by Target High Rise Slim-Straight Jeans. They are the perfect fit and resemble something much more high end. They look so great with anything from sweaters to just a simple t-shirt. My school has a strict dress code of no shorts, knee length skirts and dresses, and otherwise jeans. So, these are perfect and we purchased multiple pairs.
Then, there's another one of my favorite tops, are the A New Day by Target Ribbed Short Sleeve T-Shirts. They pair once again with actually anything. Jeans, shorts, also some leather pant from the brand Who What Wear.
Next, are just some simple gold hoop earrings. I feel as if a girl could live with one thing it would be a simple gold hoop. I just got mine from a local boutique, but I look forward to asking for some Sheila Fajil's for Christmas. My sister gets much use out of hers. I also own a couple different styles of gold hoops such as small, textured, different gradients, and much more! I also saw some own our recent vacation, that were square hoops with a bamboo texture! Gold hoops can be just the perfect addition to any outfit, sometimes are a statement piece too!
Further, are a new addition to my wardrobe | shoe collection, and those are my New Balance 237 Sneakers in Beige/White. My sister and I both purchased these and they are so beautiful. They will go with so many outfits! I can't wait to start wearing them! I linked and pictured a different because I could not find the exact pair!
This is my second year having/decorating a locker! I always have lots of fun decorating them! Last year I went for a bright colored, preppy if you would theme, but this year I went for grand millennial, muted, cool colors. I'm looking forward to decorating and using my locker this upcoming year. So, here are a few of my staple pieces inside my locker this year! First, is my blue locker shelf. Target always comes out with wonderful locker lines, but this year has by far been the best! They have multiple different aesthetics as well as solid colored kits and accessories! I shopped/mixed both the Regency collection and the Neutral Boho Pink collection. Here is all the collections you can shop! I also enjoyed the kit from the boho collection, and the magnets from the Regency collection. I have made many things for my locker such as cork circles and clear magnets with patterns, but enjoyed purchasing some staples as well!
I go to a private Christian academy so each day we take part in a Bible class as well as attend a chapel service once a week. We are required to have a New King James Version Bible and so I got mine engraved. Last year, I had a Mary Square Bible case and really liked it, so I purchased another one this year! I also like to take notes during Chapels and also would like to start taking them during Bible class this year! I'm pretty sure that we will have a designated Bible class notebook, but I liked the idea of getting a new notebook for chapel so I got an Up & Up journal this year. I also personalized it with my Circuit.
Finally, I know many people rave about these pencils, but I just wanted to share how much I love them as well! The Paper Mate Clear Point Mechanical Pencils write so well and last a fair amount of time, but as soon as you're too lazy to find lead to refill them it's time to replace them. So, I always make sure to have backup mechanical ones, the BiC Mechanical Pencils are great especially in extra sparkle!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Make sure to go and follow me on Pinterest and to check out my new Youtube Channel! Make sure to check some of these items out! I hope you have a great back to school season and an even better school year! Happy Shopping!
XOXO,
Whitley♡
